‘Rick & Morty’ Season 7 Episode 4 Review: Yet Another Average Episode

So far season 7 of Rick & Morty has been hit and miss, with episode 1 of the season being the weakest episode story-wise of the whole franchise, episode 2 being amazing and episode 3 being average, so how does episode 4 fair?

Not only does episode 4 “That’s Amorte” finally give Morty’s new voice actor (Harry Belden) and character a chance to shine, but This episode also gives Morty some much-needed character development.

I will say though, depending on how you are with gore horror, I recommend not eating anything while watching this, although the story is great and does challenge the characters on what’s right and wrong, and without going into spoilers this episode is going to be the hardest to watch due to the theme of the episode which is all about “spaghetti pasta”.

I know that sounds innocent, but remember this is Rick & Morty where pretty much anything goes.

Although this isn’t as great as episode 2, and at times this episode was hard to watch, not only does the story pay off in the end, the soundtrack and animation are also on point and the post-scene is so stupid that it will definitely make you laugh.

★★★½
