Looks like we won’t have to wait for D23 to get some more Marvel news! Destin Daniel Cretton (director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Andrew Guest (writer for Community and Brooklyn Nine Nine, in addition to being a consulting producer on Marvel’s own Hawkeye series) are currently developing a series based around one of Marvel Comics’ oldest characters, Wonder Man. Development is early, but The Hollywood Reporter claims that filming could commence as soon as next year. Wonder Man is a fascinating character, as he has major ties to many current or past MCU characters, such as Tony Stark and Scarlet Witch. His powers utilize ionic energy, and considering that The Ronin reported that Ionic Productions was confirmed to be a Marvel LLC, we might be finally able to scratch another mystery project off of our list. Hopefully casting news follows suit sooner rather than later.
