Every ‘What If…?’ Season 2 Episode Ranked

What If we rank all season 2 episodes? That’s right, What If…? Season 2 has officially premiered and we got to watch all 9 episodes so we decided to bring you our ranking from worst to best. You can read our full review on this new season by clicking here. (Don’t worry, this list does NOT contain spoilers)

9th Place – What If… Iron Man Crashed Into the Grandmaster?

By the time this article is posted, this episode just dropped on Disney+ and well… I’ll just say it’s not bad but it’s also not good, at least in my point of view. It felt extremely unnecessary in every aspect. I mean it was cool to see all the racing and some character interactions but, overall, it was a weak entry for this season.

8th Place – What If… Nebula Joined the Nova Corps?

The first episode of the season, it has 0 impact on the upcoming episodes but still managed to be a solid episode. I don’t think any of the episodes we got this season were bad, but obviously, some were better than others. I enjoyed the dark and Blade Runner vibes this episode has but overall it was predictable in my point of view and slightly dull in some points.

7th PlaceWhat If… Hela Found the Ten Rings?

Being in this position doesn’t change the fact that this episode was dope! Seeing a different version of Hela was something really interesting to see, she looks like another person and, despite its rushed pacing, it was a really intriguing and entertaining episode that will definitely be amongst the favorites for some people. It’s only taking this spot here for me because I really enjoyed the other ones more.

6th Place – What If… Strange Supreme Intervened?

I know it’s kinda disappointing to see this episode here, specially when we expect the last episode of a season to be its greatest or at least one of its greatest. This episode was good, it had some crazy action scenes, tons of easter eggs and references but, again, had the rushed pacing issue, and for me it didn’t work as well as the first season’s finale did. Captain Carter is still the protagonist of this show and I love to see it.

5th Place – What If… Captain Carter Fought the Hydra Stomper?

So the 5th episodes takes the 5th place. This episode is packed with some Winter Soldier vibes and is a great follow up to the first Captain Carter episode, and she’s even better here. I had a blast with this one. The visuals are really good and so are the action scenes. Definitely one of my favorite episodes this season.

4th Place – What If… Peter Quill Attacked Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?

If there’s something I love, is to watch different versions of the Avengers and here they deliver the old team and wow this was so much fun. From the beginning to the very end, this episode managed to amuse me in every way possible. Loved Quill and Hope interacting, it was so cute.

3rd Place – What If… The Avengers Assembled In 1602?

Now this was something extremely interesting to watch. Seeing this version of the Avengers was something mind blowing, from the visuals to the scenarios. Everything in this episode worked really well for me. Watching this team but in 1602 was something I never expected to see it coming.

2nd Place – What If… Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?

I was just patiently waiting for this season to bring us some Christmas content and then this came and delivered one of the best episodes of this entire show. We have Happy Hogan bulking, the Avengers in Christmas vibes, Justin Hammer returning in his best way, and action scenes that will have you jaw dropped. This episode was excellent.

1st Place – What If… Kahhori Reshaped The World?

Look, I knew this episode was going to be good but come on now. This episode is without a doubt my favorite from this season. We see a total original character with an unique, impactful and emotional story with great action scenes and stunning visuals. I loved how they took a different way here and delivered a FULL episode speaking in a different language, simply loved this.
