Every time Disney releases a movie without original songs it really scares me… Don’t get me wrong, there are many non-musical Disney animated movies that I love but recently it has been kind of tough… Strange World and Raya And The Last Dragon are some examples of that, at least for me, which wasn’t a big fan of Raya even though most people liked it.
Zootopia is not only a Disney win but also one of my favorite Disney movies of all time unironically. Recently it has been confirmed that a sequel is currently in development but as of now, no release date has been set. But we might have a good prediction for when to expect the movie to hit theaters…
Today, it was reported by Grace Randolph that Zootopia 2 had its first test screening today and that it was a total success! If the movie had a test screening today, so that means that most of the movie is done and they’re just working on improvements to make it better and keep working until the release date to have it ready by the time.
An unannounced Walt Disney Animation Studios has a confirmed animated movie to release later next year. So with that, our guess is that Zootopia 2 will release in theaters on November 27, 2024. Reminding you that this is just a guess and not an official confirmation. This weekend is Disney’s 100th anniversary, maybe this could be the day we finally get an announcement of its release date? We never know, right?
