Shameik Moore Shares His Excitement For ‘Beyond The Spider-Verse’ (Exclusive)

Amid delays and production challenges the sequel to the Oscar nominated Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse has no exact date to be released in theaters as of now. The movie was previously expected to release this month but after the strikes and considering how they’re seemingly not even half the way through it, it’s unlikely that we will see the movie at anytime this year.

During the world premiere of The Gutter, we had the opportunity to speak to Shameik Moore about Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse and we asked if he began voice recording for the film and despite giving us a very vague answer, he shares his excitement for the film. Read the full quote:

“I can’t really speak on that but, I’m really excited to get around to “andale àndale!”, you know.”

A while ago, he revealed that he still didn’t start working on the movie yet, but now, he tells us he can’t answer the question, maybe indicating he could be already recording for the film. We can’t wait to see what he has for us in the next installment of this trilogy.

About his upcoming film, The Gutter, Walt (Shameik Moore) lands work at bowling alley AlleyCatz, he’s pressured to embrace his bowling talent, sparking backlash from detractors seeking to undermine his sudden pro success. The movie currently has no release date.
