In last year or two we got multiple movies with plots related to “multiverse”. MCU recently released two big blockbusters that use ” Multiverse ” In their plot, Doctor Strange : Into the madness of multiverse and Spider-man : No Way Home. Both of these movies were praised by both critics and audience. Out of these dozens of movies and shows let’s take a look at 5 projects that really used the multiverse aspect well and are good in general.

1. Everything Everywhere All At Once
Rating- 9.8/10
Synopsis
“An aging Chinese immigrant is swept up in an insane adventure, where she alone can save the world by exploring other universes connecting with the lives she could have led.”
This new A24 movie took everyone by surprise. It clearly is the best one out of all multiverse movies or shows. It is very unpredictable, feels real, makes you feel in moments for characters and still manages to use multiverse to a level never done before. Though, it wouldn’t have been so great if the creators didn’t put so much effort in every shot, frame, editing, writing and the plot. Not only the best in this list but it is definitely one of the best movies of all time. A must watch!

2. Doctor Strange : Into The Madness of Multiverse
Rating- 8/10
Synopsis
“Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses, to battle multiple threats, including other-universe versions of himself, which threaten to wipe out millions across the multiverse. They seek help from Wanda the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others.”
Doctor Strange 2 is another very recent movie First of all this movie used it’s multiverse aspects of the plot much better than No way home. This genre can get boring very fast but there’s atleast the artistic style in this movie. This might not be as good as some other stuff in this list but this one is still worth watching and it’s great enough.

3. Rick And Morty
Rating- 9.2/10
Synopsis
“animated series that follows the exploits of a super scientist and his not-so-bright grandson.”
We can’t forget about Rick and Morty while talking about multiverse. Ofcourse the whole show is not about that but there’s a lot of episodes that involve multiversal elements and it’s some of the best stuff too. Rick and Morty clearly is a very clever show that does way more stuff while it seems just like a weird sci-fi comedy animated series. If you haven’t watched it, this is definitely worth a watch.

4. Loki
Rating- 8.5/10
Synopsis
“The mercurial villain Loki resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”
Sure, not everyone likes Loki series that much but a lot of people still call it the bets MCU show on Disney+ (if we exclude Daredevil of course). There’s no denying that this show has incredible set pieces atleast and it knows what it’s doing with it’s plot. Again the multiversal stuff is great in this show.

5. Justice League : Flashpoint Paradox
Rating- 9/10
Synopsis
“The Flash finds himself in a war torn alternate timeline and teams up with alternate versions of his fellow heroes to return home and restore the timeline.”
This movie is an adaptation from the New 52 storyline and is part of DCAU. This is definitely one of the more popular mainstream flash stories (yes there are better ones). If you have knowlege about Justice League, Batman and flash, this movie is definitely a must watch. The flash tries to prevent his mother’s death in past which changes his entire universe and makes stuff really worse.

6. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse
Rating- 9/10
Synopsis
“Teen Miles Morales becomes the Spider-Man of his universe, and must join with five spider-powered individuals from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities.”
When talking about multiverse movies, we definitely can’t forget about this movie. Clearly this one is the best one out of all Marvel shows and movies in this subgenre. It is mostly a Miles Morales story but weaves the multiverse elements in its story very well, along with emotions.
