Ms Marvel was very well received by the public and fans for being a very unique series and with a very different story than what we are used to in the MCU. At the end of the series we find out that Kamala is a mutant, the first mutant in the MCU and everyone was taken by surprise!
But the question we have is: what will Kamala Khan’s future in the MCU look like? At the end of the series we see a mysterious scene of Carol Denvers switching places with Kamala and the explanation of this scene we will only know in the movie The Marvels, the series also confirms that Kamala’s next appearance will only be in The Marvels and I was taken by surprise with that, in my opinion, Kamala should make an appearance in the MCU before The Marvels, and Secret Invasion is a perfect time for that, but apparently it will be a while before we see her again.
I think it’s very unlikely that Kamala join the X-Men, but on the other hand I think she will be essential for the introduction of mutants in the MCU, so what to expect? A second season of the series is also very likely and I hope they will announce it during SDCC next week!
