Would Ted Beat Paddington In A Fight? Max Burkholder Responds (Exclusive)

One of the highest grossing and most popular R-Rated comedies of all time, Ted, is finally back for his own TV series.

In this series, it’s 1993 and Ted’s moment of fame has passed, leaving him living with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Burkholder), who lives in a working-class Boston home with his parents and cousin. Ted might not be the best influence on John, but when it comes right down to it, Ted’s willing to go out on a limb to help his friend and his family.

We had the opportunity, thanks to NBC Universal and Peacock, to talk to John Bennett himself, Max Burkholder, about his experiences, challenges and moments while playing this young version of Mark Wahlberg’s character.

Considering he’s Ted best friend and knows him better than anyone else, we asked him: Who would win in a fight, Ted or Paddington? Check out his answer:

Ted! Ted 100%! Yeah, I mean, Paddington is a physical bear, he got claws and teeth but Ted would like just shoot him with a gun like, it’s not even close.

Make sure to read the FULL interview dropping this Thursday at 10am ET along with our full review of the show, which comes out on Thursday, January 11, at 3am ET.

All episodes of Ted releases on Peacock on January 11
