Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank Review: A Very Fun Predictable Movie

0 0

Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank follows the dog Hank (Michael Cera) trying to be a great Samurai to defend the cat village called Kakamucho from the dangerous Ika Chu (Ricky Gervais), but Hank is not yet a samurai and needs to be Trained by retired cat samurai Jimbo (Samuel L. Jackson). The movie is something I really wasn’t expecting with a great humor and with a simple and cliché story the script ends up playing with it and uses the fourth wall for that, the movie has the perfect length with a well-constructed beginning, middle and end and written with some really cool moments when certain battles happen during the movie! With vibrant colors, the movie gives you a really good feeling and that you really feel comfortable watching it. The film’s script is very simple and very predictable, you always know what will happen next, for example, this character fought with this other character but in about 10 minutes more of the movie you already know that they will regret having fought and will go back to being friends again, this happens a lot of times during the movie as a whole!

But apart from that I really had fun watching the movie, with hilarious scenes of certain characters, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that the movie is very, very childish, kids will definitely love the movie, but if you are an older person there are several things that will please you in the movie. The breaking of the fourth wall in the film is something that is repeated over and over again during the film is simply hilarious as for example the characters talking to the audience or even saying that they don’t have so much time to implement their plan because the film it’s almost over, that and so many other things made me love the movie. Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is fun and an awesome movie for adults and kids alike!
